| Reed Appraisers provides I-CAR and ASE Certified Auto Appraisers in the Washington, D.C. and metropolitan area, as well as a large portion of northern Virginia. We have over 30 years of experience in this field and can provide an expert opinion regarding fair market value assessment on most any type of vehicle. Appraisers assigned to these cases are certified and have provided expert witness testimony on numerous occasions. Our clients include the general public, as well as numerous insurance carriers, law firms, fleet management companies, government agencies, and a number of churches, missions and charitable organizations. Our service provides a formal appraisal package that includes supporting documentation and photographs. We consult at least two guide books and research the internet for comparables in effort to obtain the most advantageous figure we can justify. We also complete the IRS 8283 form required for vehicle donations valued in excess of $5,000. Our fee for a formal appraisal package $60.00 if the vehicle is brought to us, and $85.00 if we need to travel within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Our pricing applies to all types of vehicles including classics, antiques and cars of special interest. We guarantee acceptance of our product, and if for any reason the IRS rejects our report we will refund 100% of our service fee with on questions asked. Key Benefits
